Professor Jacqui Glass has been appointed as Interim Dean of The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment.
She will take on leadership of The Bartlett in April 2024, as outgoing Dean Professor Christoph Lindner moves to a new role as President and Vice-Chancellor of the Royal College of Art.
Jacqui has played a leading role in the built environment field through an academic research and teaching career spanning 25 years.
She is currently Vice-Dean Research for The Bartlett faculty, and for several years has led The Bartlett’s unique, multidisciplinary research community in our position as the UK’s largest centre for collaborative, impactful, world-leading and internationally excellent research.

Following an internal selection process led by Professor Anthony Smith, UCL Vice Provost (Faculties) and The Bartlett faculty leadership team, Jacqui has been appointed as Interim Dean of The Bartlett from 1 April 2024.
The Interim Dean role will be in post for the coming months until a permanent Dean is appointed.
