The QS ranking is the most comprehensive worldwide assessment of university subjects - they reflect the opinions of academic colleagues and employers from all over the world as well as looking at citations to our research, and so are really quite robust. I am really pleased to see The Bartlett Faculty achieving the number one ranking in architecture and the built environment as we celebrate our centenary.

We are delighted to see that UCL has once again been recognised for its strong global performance across a wide range of subjects. It demonstrates the strength and breadth of our academic excellence and teaching, as well as our capacity to address some of the most pressing issues facing the world today. I would like to congratulate colleagues in UCL’s Institute of Education and The Bartlett Faculty of The Built Environment for being ranked No1 in the world. This is a tremendous achievement.”
