Fast Forward 2030

Fast Forward 2030 is a network of entrepreneurs hosted by the Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP) at University College London. We foster the development of innovations that address the causes and consequences of environmental degradation, economic inequality and social injustice. We encourage transformative enterprises that challenge the status quo and deliver sustainability and prosperity for all. There is great power in business for change and we harness it with the tenacity and determination of activists.

Professor Dame Henrietta Moore (Director of the IGP) and Arthur Kay (founder of bio-bean and skyroom) launched Fast Forward 2030 in London in 2015 to gather and inspire entrepreneurs to develop new business models to deliver on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A number of leading innovators joined Professor Moore and Mr. Kay to lift the project off the ground and form the first board including Will Hunter, founder of the London School of Architecture, James Byrne, co-founder of Sustainable Workspaces, Solveiga Pakstaite, founder of Mimica, Olivia Sibony, founder of SeedTribe, and Richard Ballard, founder of Growing Underground. Following the success of the London programme, Fast Forward 2030 has gone global launching networks in Lebanon and Kenya.
