The UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) at The Bartlett has extended the deadline to apply for our MSc Scholarships until Friday 1st July. The three Scholarships available for MSc Programmes are:

Each Scholarship is named after prominent professors who pioneered the field of Environmental Design and Engineering at The Bartlett. One scholarship will be awarded for each MSc programme. The scholarships are awarded based on merit. The value of the award is £5,500 in total as a contribution towards fees.

Professor Dejan Mumovic, Director of University College London Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, explained further:

Since Professor Sir Richard Llewelyn Davies appointed Ralph Hopkinson as the first Chair of Environmental Design and Engineering in 1965, we have advocated multidisciplinary education. We have enlarged the scope of architectural and engineering education to incorporate Environmental Design and Engineering (1978), Light and Lighting (1987), Health, Wellbeing in Sustainable Buildings (2017), and Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering (2018). Multidisciplinary research and teaching remain the foundation upon which our Institute's teaching and research is structured today. I am pleased to announce the return of three MSc scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023, named after two outstanding Bartlett academics, Llewelyn Davies and Hopkinson.”
