Engineering and Architectural Design MEng
This four-year programme run jointly with the Bartlett School of Architecture and the UCL Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering has been designed in close collaboration with industry leaders, to combine the major disciplines of architecture and engineering of the built environment and prepare graduates to be future industry leaders.
"Considering that engineers and architects work closely together, the fact that both disciplines are traditionally trained with little understanding of the other means that this course is perfectly placed to bridge a dangerously large gap in industry.”
Kaia Wells, Engineering and Architectural Design MEng student

Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering MSc
Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering MSc explores how digital engineering can lead to smarter buildings that are better for their occupants and the environment.
In 2019 Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering students attended the CIBSE Technical Symposium. "The main highlights for me were the sessions focused on smart buildings which are the subject of my master degree. As an electronics engineer, I am drawn to the use of technology to optimize control systems in buildings. Attending the event has given me the opportunity to think about the area in which I would like to develop my career in the future."

“There are very few educational degrees relating to healthy buildings in Taiwan, and there are very few professionals specialising in health, wellbeing and sustainable buildings. According to the vice president of IWBI ASIA, I am the first in Taiwan to graduate from a research institute specialising in healthy buildings. This makes my resume very competitive.”
