We're hiring: Research Fellow in Sustainable and Healthy Cities (part-time)

We're looking for a Research Fellow to work with the Complex Urban Systems for Sustainability and Health (CUSSH) project to continue and build on the working relationship with the Greater London Authority.

Duties and responsibilities

The vision of the UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) is a world in which the development of buildings and the urban environment is sustainable.
 
The role of the successful applicant will be to work with the Complex Urban Systems for Sustainability and Health (CUSSH) team to continue and build on the working relationship with the GLA, including the delivery of the ‘Designing London’s Recovery’ Programme. The candidate would also be required to share and apply the learning and practice from the London case study, with wider CUSSH activities and support the delivery of wider evaluation into the programme.
 
This post is available immediately and has funding until 31 January 2023 in the first instance. Further funding may be available. 

Key requirements

The candidate should have experience in, and knowledge, of research on sustainability, health and wellbeing in the urban context alongside experience in reviewing evaluation processes and mechanisms and developing shared evaluation goals. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field and a keen interest in multi-disciplinary research.
