Professor Dejan Mumovic, Deputy Director, UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (UCL IEDE) is set to deliver a 30-minute session at the CIBSE Building Performance Conference and Exhibition in London on Thursday, 17 November 2016.

The session will cover the importance of indoor quality on the comfort and wellbeing of building occupants. There are serious concerns about levels of pollution in outdoor air and its impact on indoor air quality (IAQ). Dejan will look at the interface between internal and external built environments in two specific types of buildings and consider interrelationships with other variables that affect wellbeing, such as thermal comfort and ventilation. This session will allow clients, building designers, policy-makers and other stakeholders to understand the impact of indoor air quality on health, productivity and wellbeing in the context of energy performance of housing and school building stock.

Registration is open for the conference.
