Dr Ben Croxford visits University of Oviedo

Dr Ben Croxford, Senior Lecturer at The Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, has recently completed a three week stay as an academic visitor at the Gijón campus of the University of Oviedo in Northern Spain. He was hosted by IdeasCAD, a group of lecturers in the Construction Engineering Department researching eco-design processes and virtual reality. 

Throughout his stay, Dr Croxford gave a short lecture in Spanish, helped build a 3D printer and visited a ‘Passivhaus’, one of 5 in Spain. He also visited Grupo TSK, a world leader in concentrating solar power plants, and was interviewed by the local newspaper of Gijón.
