There are a variety of opportunities for you, as students, to connect with the local community whilst studying at UCL i.e. volunteering, knowledge exchange or public engagement. But what is the value of these exchanges and collaborations, and to whom? In this session, brought to you by the UCL Evaluation Exchange, we share our insights from our programme.

We will be joined by students and a community organisation who will share their experience from working together in our pilot Evaluation Exchange.

Bring your lunch, come along and:

  • Hear from past UCL students about the skills gained, and how it helped their next career steps.
  • Discover how such collaborations build valuable relationships that bring together different perspectives.
  • Find out how you can make a difference to a community organisation.

This event is open to anyone who is interested but may especially appeal to UCL postgraduate students and early career researchers.

Register for your free place on Eventbrite.

The UCL Evaluation Exchange: We believe in building links, bringing together diverse knowledge and expertise for people to work together on evaluation. For us this means creating connections to deepen understanding of evaluation and learning to enrich practice and make a difference. For more information visit our website.

This event is part of a series of informal sessions during March – April 2021 to launch the Evaluation Exchange, discuss things that matter and connect with others.
