This webinar looks closely at the current conflict and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza while aiming to shed some light on the current conditions in the region. Moreover, the role of international actors in shaping the conflict and the silence of governments in relation to the multiple transgressions of international and human rights law will be discussed. Vis a vis violence, occupation and impunity, this event wishes to address the politics of the future in Gaza, Palestine, Israel and the Middle East and to examine what are the possible future scenarios.
