I am exploring how project - based organisations make decisions about which projects to enter the organisation’s portfolio by interviewing key decision-makers in the organisations.
The outcome of my PhD work is expected to make the contribution to the existing work on the ‘management of projects’ led by Peter Morris. Methodological techniques devised during the study will contribute to further development of ‘management of projects’ studies.
The results of the research will also have the practical application by assisting project-based organisations to understand how they make decisions on selecting potential prospects and proposing the innovative tool that facilitates them to make better decisions on future prospects selection
