London (Re)generation AD: Architectural Design
18 January 2012
Professor Mike Batty has contributed to the latest edition of Architectural Design, which focuses on the regeneration of London ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games. In his article, Professor Batty discusses urban regeneration as self-organisation and suggests how urban planning needs to identify key points where small change can lead to massive change for the better. Other Bartlett academics, including Prof Matthew Carmona (Planning), Prof Murray Fraser (Architecture), Dr Hilary Powell (Architecture), Edward Denison (Architecture) and UCl Geography’s Professor Matthew Gandy also contributed to the magazine.
