Creating and Exploring Digital Empathy

A digital installation at St Peter's Church, De Beauvoir Town, Hackney recently featured on BBC Technology website.  The digital installation - a partnership between CASA, Imagination Labs at the University of Lancaster, InstEAD at the University of Sheffield and the Reverend Julia Porter-Pryce, Vicar of St Peter's Church -  is part of the EPSRC funded 'Creating and Exploring Digital Empathy' (CEDE) project and explores themes of creating and communicating digital empathy within the church community. The installation features a set of digital Votive Candles, a digitally augmented Font of Consolation and an LED-powered Advent Window featuring a daily prayer for Advent.
