Katie's Walk In Memory Of Katie Jamieson

24 June 2022

Katies-Walk

In memory of Katie Jamieson (7 April 1989 – 7 October 2021)

Everyone at CASA was saddened to learn that our student Katie Jamieson died last year from a rare form of liver cancer. We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and well-wishes to Katie's family and friends. Katie was a valued and respected friend and colleague.

Professor Adam Dennett, CASA Head of Department, said: 'I knew Katie well as I supervised her dissertation and she was part of a sociable group of students who came regularly to seminars and really became part of the department during their time with us. She was a great student and moved on to successful positions first at CACI and then at Transport for London where she was instrumental in reaching out to us and setting up a new collaboration which is supporting a number of MSc student dissertation projects this year – a fantastic legacy.'

CASA would like to support this fundraising project to raise money for Cancer Research UK to help combat rare Liver cancers and we hope you will give generously. Please donate at the link below.
