Summer Show 2018 opener announced

14 May 2018

We are delighted to announce Professor Eva Jiricna CBE as the opener for this year’s Bartlett Summer Show.

Eva Jiricna

On Friday 22 June, award-winning architect Eva Jiricna will be opening The Bartlett School of Architecture Summer Show 2018, addressing students, staff, industry and invited guests in the main quadrangle of UCL at 7pm.

Having first encountered The Bartlett School of Architecture on her arrival from Czechoslovakia in 1968, Eva continues to be inspired by the school’s unique ethos:

I have been witnessing the progress of The Bartlett for more than 50 years, witnessing its continuous journey from strength to strength. It is a real treat to be part of The Bartlett Summer Show to absorb the overwhelming optimism, positive attitude, astonishing effort, endless curiosity and investigative hunger of the school, which takes risks but never accepts defeat.
