Crafting Future(s)

About

The Cross-Unit Event for the Architecture MArch (ARB/RIBA Part 2) programme will take place on the 9th March (11:00–12:00 and 16:00–20:00).

This year’s theme, Crafting Future(s), will focus on celebrating diversity in architecture and how we craft our future(s) based on our unique potential. Each unit has invited an alumnus to present a past project and their current/future agenda and work, to inspire the community of students. The evening offers an opportunity to celebrate different approaches to design, teaching, and architecture.

The presentations will be short-format, each 10 minutes in length. This will be followed by a drinks reception.

• 11:00-12:00 (Zoom) – Annabelle Tan (PG11) will present her work from last year, which received the Silver Medal for the Best Project of the Year at Part 2, the Dissertation Medal, and the Award for Sustainable Design at Part 2 from the Royal Institute of British Architects.

• 16:00-17:00 (Room 6.02) – Felicity Atekpe (Director of Professional Studies) session on career progression, Year Out and Part 3

• 17:00-20:00 (Room 6.02) – Short format presentations about students' current practice and/or their work at The Bartlett School of Architecture.
