Dr. ZHOU Wenli will present her research on the 27th of September 2012 entitled "Distilling Zinc in China: The Technology of Large-Scale Zinc Production in Chongqing During the Ming and Qing Dynasties (AD 1368-1911)".
The International Center for Chinese Heritage and Archaeology (ICCHA)
holds a regular 'China Night' event at the Institute of Archaeology and often covers topics relevant to archaeometallurgy. This term's first lecture will focus on the zinc production in China and should be a fascinating talk from Dr. Zhou. It will last about an hour and will be followed by a reception with drinks and appetizers. All are welcome.
