The 39th International Symposium on Archaeometry: "50 years of ISA", aimed at the broader scientific archaeological discipline, will be held in Leuven, Belgium this year.
With a large number of well known archaeometallurgists attending and presenting, the conference has a dedicated session on "Metals and Metallurgical Ceramics" with a focus on technology and provenance chaired by IAMS director, Prof. Thilo Rehren.
This conference remains one of the most important and influential ones in archaeometry as its international renown attracts scholars from across the globe and across many disciplines. This year, celebrating their 50th year, the conference is sure to be a great success.
