Antonella Silvestro, Senior Teaching Administrator, has been nominated in the category 'Amazing Support Staff', which allows students to thank a member of staff who is not in a teaching role, but still makes a huge difference to their learning with their help, patience and care.

Dr Nadia Hilliard, Lecturer in US Studies, Undergraduate Programme Director and MA US Studies Programme Director was nominated in the category 'Excellent Personal Tutoring', a category to thank those academics who are always there to provide their students with pastoral care support and academic guidance.

Dr Josh Hollands, Teaching Fellow in United States History, gets his nomination towards the 'Inspiring Teaching Delivery' award, for his way of delivering exceptional teaching, using innovative and engaging methods to hold his students' interest and help them to learn.

Congratulations to them all, so well deserved!

The Student Choice Awards are a way for students to thank amazing members of staff, and let them know that their hard work makes a difference. Students’ feedback about the kind of education that works for them also enables the Students' Union UCL to work with UCL to spread examples of best-practice. A shortlist of 3 staff members for each award will be announced on Tuesday 19 May, with the 8 award winners announced between Wednesday 10 and Friday 19 June.
