Asa Cusack's 'Venezuela, ALBA' new book

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new title in the Studies of the Americas series, 'Venezuela, ALBA, and the Limits of Postneoliberal Regionalism in Latin America and the Caribbean' by Asa Cusack. This book provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation, functioning, and impact of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), cornerstone of Venezuelan foreign policy and standard-bearer of 'postneoliberal' reginalism during the 'Left Turn' in Latin America and the Caribbea (1998-2016).

Dr Asa Cusack is Managing Director of the LSE Latin American and Caribbean blog, Honorary Research Associate of University College London, and Associate Fellow of the Institute of Latin American Studies, University of London.

Maxine Molyneux, Professor of Sociology at UCL Institute of the Americas is Editor in Chief of the Studies of the Americas series.
