Key messages launched

Principal theme: Communicating and engaging

To help staff talk about UCL, UCL Communications launched six key messages about the university.

These messages tell the story of UCL, communicating the core values we have set out in UCL 2034. They are designed to illustrate the six principal themes of our strategy, so that staff across UCL can effectively present a consistent narrative about what our university does.

We created a key messages website, with downloadable images and case studies for each of the messages.

Click through the slideshow to the message and some of the images available on the website:

Staff can use these key messages in all communications about UCL, whether writing a proposal to partners or stakeholders, creating a pamphlet or posters, or talking to people at a networking event.

The images can be used in digital and print publications, and the case studies provide examples of how our work embodies our messages. We chose both the images and case studies in consultation with communications staff across UCL. Many of the case studies include multimedia, and there are links to further resources. There is also a PowerPoint that staff can download and use in presentations about UCL.

We will update the case studies as we progress. If there is something that you would like to be considered, please get in touch via the UCL Communications and Marketing website.
