Positions now available in Gems lab

Two Postdoc Positions
The Gems Lab is seeking two post-doctoral scientists to join a team investigating mechanisms of ageing in the nematode C. elegans. The positions are funded by the Wellcome Trust. The goal of the work is understand the causes of ageing. A strategic objective is to discover general principles that govern the development of diseases of ageing, and how the operative mechanisms are controlled by signalling pathways that determine overall ageing rate. Work will include genetic and biochemical approaches, and microscopy-based biometric analysis of ageing pathologies. For info and to apply, see here Closing date for applications is 30 August.

Research Technician
The Gems Lab is seeking a research technician to join a Wellcome Trust-funded project investigating the mechanisms of ageing in the nematode C. elegans. The work will take place in the vibrant, busy laboratories of the Institute of Healthy Ageing, which are shared by eight research groups, all working on ageing. For info and to apply, see here.
