De-stigmatising Student Mental Illness

One Day Conference- Thursday 19th June 2014

The Student Psychological Services will be holding a one day  conference entitled "De-Stigmatising Student Mental Illness" on Thursday the 19th of June 2014.

The main focus of the conference will be to address the following questions:

Why do so many students with mental health difficulties refuse to declare their mental health status when applying to university?

Why do some of them not seek help from college support services or do so only when they feel desperate?

Why do so many students with mental health difficulties bear their difficulties in silence?

A leaflet containing booking information and a programme for the day can be downloaded here: Conference Leaflet

For booking queries, please e-mail Catherine McAteer at c.mcateer@ucl.ac.uk
