INSTG056 Commissioning, Research and Project Management

This module introduces the principles of commissioning, developing and delivery within the context of modern publishing practice including digital. The syllabus covers the role of the commissioning editor, the managing editor and the project team. It considers scheduling, budgeting, slippage management and delivery within budget and timescale. It also covers editorial research, project evaluation and project pitching, as well as project management and research methodologies.
