The event will begin with a keynote from Professor Elizabeth Shepherd. It will include research talks and poster presentations by DIS scholars and research students, panel discussions and a networking session. The talks are organised in six themes:
- Understanding human and machine cognition
- Knowledge Organisation and Digitisation
- Impacts of Technology
- Diversity and Inclusion in Information Studies
- Preserving the past: Digital approaches to Cultural Heritage
- Data-empowered societies
There will also be further opportunities for discussion and networking during the lunch and coffee breaks and the drinks reception.
