W. F. Grimes Prize

Founded in 1973 by subscriptions in honour of Professor W. F. Grimes, Director of the Institute of Archaeology from 1956 to 1973

  1. The Prize known as the W. F. Grimes Prize may be awarded in each session.

  2. The Prize is awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the Grants Sub-Committee of the Institute of Archaeology.

  3. The Prize is awarded to students at the Institute of Archaeology for combined work in Archaeology and the Environment.

  4. The value of the Prize is £135.

  5. Awards are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations.
