Wyndham Lewis Bursary

Founded in 1986 by the Trustees of the Wyndham Lewis Memorial Trust

  1. A Bursary, known as the Wyndham Lewis Bursary, may be awarded when there is a vacancy, and may be divided.

  2. The Bursary is awarded by the Council on the recommendation of a Committee appointed by the Slade Professor of Fine Art.

  3. The value of the Wyndham Lewis Bursary is £500 a year.

  4. Candidates must be undergraduate students at the Slade School of Fine Art, have outstanding talent and, other things being equal, have a particular talent for drawing.

  5. The Trustees would, from time to time, like to see the recipients of Bursaries on an informal basis, and would be interested to see their work.

  6. Awards are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations.
