Jews Commemoration Travelling Scholarship

  1. An award known as the Jews Commemoration Travelling Scholarship may be awarded in each session.

  2. The Scholarship is awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

  3. The scholarship is intended to enable an undergraduate student in the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies to travel in Israel during their compulsory year abroad.

  4. The annual value of the award may fluctuate from year to year but will be in the region of £650.

  5. No application is necessary.

  6. The qualifications of candidates are considered by the Head of the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies.

  7. Awards are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations
