The Institute of the Americas is involved in various open days for prospective students find out what opportunities are on offer and talk to members of academic staff. These events can be extremely valuable in helping you make an informed choice about pursuing further study.
Undergraduate Open Days
The Institute of the Americas ran two offer-holder Open Days in Spring 2018, if you were unable to attend but would like further information please email email@example.com.
We plan to run similar events in Spring 2019 for next year's applicants.
The department will also be present at UCL-wide undergraduate Open Days on:

Come and meet the team and find out more about our programmes of study and life at UCL. The UCL Open Days offer a variety of activities, including admissions talks, general talks on topics such as accommodation, finance and careers. There are also accommodation tours, faculty and information fairs, taster sessions, and much more.

Postgraduate Open Days
We do not have any further departmental Open Days planned for 2018 entry, however we may be running some virtual Open Days and we also welcome ad hoc visits - please contact the Teaching Administration Team for more details.
For 2019 entry staff will also be representing the Institute of the Americas at UCL's postgraduate Open Day in December 2018. More information will be posted here in due course.
We also plan to hold a number of virtual and departmental events for Master's students in the spring term. In the meantime, we are happy to arrange individual visits for students interested in Master's or Postgraduate Research programmes at any time of year.
