This half-day interactive and collaborative session will investigate what it means to design practices of transformative urbanism for the twenty-first century city across disciplinary boundaries.

Led by Aseem Inam, Professor and Chair in Urban Design at Cardiff University and Director of TRULAB: Laboratory for Designing Urban Transformation, a pioneering research-based urban practice, the workshop is intended to bring together architects, urban designers, planners, development specialists, geographers and policy makers.

The workshop is open to all, but please note it will be a participatory session, with all attending expected to contribute. UCL research students are particularly encouraged to register.

It proceeds a public lecture that evening by Prof Inam on spatial production processes in Las Vegas. More details can be found on our website (no booking necessary).
