UCLIC's Summer picnic

A good dose of optimism and perseverance, not to mention Louise's direct line to AccuWeather, all helped secure a rain-free picnic on Wednesday 19 July. UCLIC's Summer gathering took place in the garden of Gordon Square, a hidden gem in Bloomsbury. This secluded green, surrounded by lovely Georgian houses where several members of the Bloomsbury group lived in the early 20th century, provided the ideal location for our event.

We had strawberries and Pimm's, we shared delicacies from China, Greece and M&S, we played games on the grass and had lots of fun - all under the banner of team spirit, common purpose and UCLICers' joie de vivre.
