Creating a visual analytics tool is a complex process that often involves the understanding of the data and its complexity. Throughout this presentation, we will explore various instances showcasing the visualization of a wide array of datasets, spanning from poetry, and negotiated texts to COVID-19 statistics. We will also examine design processes as effective tools for both dataset analysis and the development of visual analytics tools capable of exploring various data types. Finally, we will wrap up by sharing valuable insights gained from our collaboration with domain experts and our experience working across a spectrum of datasets.
