AERAS, FIND and TB Alliance say "Ending TB means investing in R&D"

Three leading tuberculosis research organisations, AERAS, FIND and the TB Alliance, have issued a joint statement urging governments to increase funding of research and development of tuberculosis treatments.  The statement, issued to coincide with the WHO Ministerial Conference in Moscow, states that "Science is not holding us back, funding and political will to implement is." and refers to the estimated US$1billion+ annual funding needed to counter attack the global TB epidemic.
