AHRI recruiting two new TB-related posts
3 May 2017
Two new posts at the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) are now being advertised:
1. A TB Epidemiologist to coordinate TB research activities including prospective cohort studies. This post would suit a clinician with a Masters in epidemiology. The deadline is 18th May 2017 and further details can be found at http://www.k-rith.org/careers/tb-epidemiologist/
2. In addition, the institute team is developing a programme of work on TB biomarker discovery and validation. They want to appoint someone to work up a grant application for this, with an option to work on the programme if funded. Ideally this would be a clinician who already had a PhD and a strong grounding in epidemiology as well as familiarity with TB biomarkers. Excellent writing skills are essential, as well as a willingness to be based at AHRI. Anyone interested should contact Alison Grant at alison.grant@lshtm.ac.uk
