PRACTECAL trial featured in the Guardian

A recent article in the Guardian highlighted the response of MSF to the rising number of cases of MDRTB.  In a change of approach for an emergency response agency, MSF set up the PRACTECAL clinical trial.  Members of UCL-TB have  supported the development of the study and the team from the UCL Centre for Clinical Microbiology are providing training in and supervision of the laboratory mycobacteriology - essential for the successful delivery of this trial.
