Registration now open for World TB Day 2017
20 December 2016
Registration is now open for the next annual World TB Day Symposium, which this time takes place on Friday, 24th March at the Institute of Child Health in central London. Once again, we have joined forces with our friends at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to co-host a day full of talks, discussion and debate around key themes in our fight against TB.
This year sessions include 'What is the natural history of TB?', 'Is there sexism in TB?' and 'What does TB elimination mean?'. There will also be a debate on the question 'Is migrant screening in LTBI worthwhile?'.
Contributions will come from leaders in the field and young investigators and cover laboratory sciences, epidemiology, health economics, policy research and modelling. The programme will run from 9:15 to 17:00, and lunch will be provided.
After the final session there will be drinks at a nearby pub.
Tickets are free of charge but limited, so early booking is strongly advised. You can reserve a place now by following this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/world-tb-day-symposium-2017-tickets-29649309884
We hope to see you there!
