Engineering Front Suite 104, UCL
As you may know we have been working to draw together TB research across UCL. We are aware that there is a diverse research student community with interests in TB who may not normally have the chance to meet. This event is an opportunity to say "hello" and for us to find out what we can do to support you.
To produce some structure we are asking you to present, but the meeting is informal and if you do not wish to on this occasion then that's OK: we would prefer you attend regardless.
As this is not a scientific review meeting, but a "who are we" session so we are asking that
• New research students present up to 3 slides/5 minutes that outline:
o Who you are
o Where you work
o What you plan to do
• Established research students present up to 5 slides/10 minutes
o Who you are
o Where you work
o What you are doing
If you want to show some slides please bring them on a USB stick.
We very much look forward to seeing you next Thursday, please don't hesitate to contact Kim Morgan at kim.morgan@ucl.ac.uk if you have any questions.
Best wishes,
Professor Tim McHugh
UCL-TB Co-Director
