How latent is "latent" tuberculosis? UCL-TB summer seminar

The first UCL-TB seminar will be presented by Hanif Esmail. 

Dr Hanif Esmail is a physician specializing in Infectious Disease in Oxford and an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Cape Town.  He has recently completed a Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship where his doctoral research focused on improving understanding of HIV-associated latent tuberculosis infection, specifically on the characterisation of subclinical disease through the modalities of FDG-PET/CT imaging, transcriptomics and immunology.
