Student Experience Survey

The Student Experience Survey is aimed at penultimate year undergraduates and it helps us to identify and act more promptly on programme-specific issues affecting undergraduates. The survey also includes students on a year abroad, but the email invitation makes it clear to this cohort that we are asking them to respond in relation to their experience of UCL only. The Student Experience Survey was developed by the UCL Student Engagement Team in consultation with faculty representatives, and includes the current NSS questions plus additional questions around student support, facilities and careers. Some of this information was previously collected through the Student Barometer, which was phased out and replaced with internally developed surveys that were more closely aligned to the UCL student lifecycle.
