Find my user ID

If you have forgotten your UCL user ID, this guide will show you how to find out what it is.

Before you start

You will need to provide:

your UPI (this is on your ID card and will look something like this: XXXXX76); and
your date of birth.

Find out how to recover your user ID if you have forgotten it:

We assign your user ID when you first join UCL. It stays the same even if you move departments or change your status (e.g. from student to staff).
If you forget your user ID, you can find out what it is using ‘Find my User ID’ on the MyAccount service.
