Library of Congress Fellowship

Congratulations to Ben Phillips who has been awarded a Fellowship from the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s International Placement Scheme for three months’ research at the Library of Congress (LOC) in Washington DC.
Ben is a second year PhD student and is researching ‘George Kennan and the Russian revolution in exile, 1885-1898’. He is one of 25 postgraduate students and early career researchers to be hosted by the LOC and will be based at the John W Kluge Center. The LOC is the largest library in the world with 158 million items in 470 languages on 838 miles of bookshelves.
