“As a third year Economics and Business student at SSEES, my favourite thing about the program is how diverse and flexible your modules can be. I have taken modules ranging from European Macroeconomics, Applied Game Theory, Business in the Digital Age, Law for Managers and in fact even an Introduction to World Cinema Module.
There is immense flexibility in curating your program to your own liking i.e. do you want a more quantitative, math-based degree, or do you want to focus on more research-based, qualitative subjects. The lectures and admin staff are incredibly supportive and helpful, which makes your whole university experience so joyful! Added to this, SSEES is a very lively department and there’s always so many different talks, panel events, workshops and social events happening. I’ve been able to meet incredible speakers, professionals, make friends, and gain unique networking opportunities via these events. So, my advice for any prospective students is to get engaged as much as possible!
