"Exploring Natural Products: Visions for the Future"

UCL School of Pharmacy and the British Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences hosted an afternoon of exploring the use of medical plants and natural products past and present through lectures and poster sessions. Invited speakers included Rui Fang from the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Francesca Scotti from the UCL School of Pharmacy, and Ranee Paresh, Curator of Botany at the British Natural History Museum. PLEASE NOTE, the symposium was immediately followed by a reception and the UCL Annual Frank Fish Lecture. This year's speaker was Professor Frances Brodsky, DPhil FMedSci, Director of the Division of Biosciences and Professor of Cell Biology at University College London since January 2014. The Frank Fish Memorial Lecture was also free but required separate registration (click here).
