Beefeater 24 is giving up-and-coming artists the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of acclaimed illustrator, Johanna Basford, with their design featuring on the next Beefeater 24 limited edition gift pack. Plus, exclusively for Slade School of Fine Art current students, the best entry will win £1,000*

Beefeater Gin’s super premium Beefeater 24, has unveiled a stunning, limited edition pack based on a hand-drawn illustration by ink evangelist, Johanna Basford. The painstaking design – which features a unique peacock motif, inspired by the 12 fine botanicals and exotic teas that give Beefeater 24 its distinctive recipe - has inspired the brand to launch a competition to find the design that will define next year’s limited edition.

The challenge will be to produce a hand-drawn illustration evoking the theme of “Distinguished British Country Chic”; traditional, romanticised, relaxed yet elegant and social. For inspiration, visit www.beefeater24inspires.co.uk

The competition will be open for entries until the 7th July 2013, and is open to all UK residents. Three finalists will be selected and invited to meet the judging panel, which will include Johanna Basford herself. The winner will not only see their design reproduced to form the basis of the 2014 limited edition gift pack, but will also receive a prize of £1,000. Entries should be sent to inspired@beefeater24.com.

*When submitting your entry, please state that you are a student from Slade School of Fine Art to be eligible for the additional £1,000 prize. All student entries that meet the competition T&Cs will also be entered into the overall competition to win a further £1,000 and a chance for their design to feature on the next limited edition gift pack.
