Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometry facilities at UCL ensure researchers have timely access to equipment, resources and expertise necessary to undertake world-leading research.
500MHz Ascend Bruker Magnet (shielded)

UCL School of Pharmacy

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory is equipped with two Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometers one at 400 MHz and one at 500 MHz additionally equipped with a cryoprobe. The full range of 1D and 2D high resolution NMR experiments are offered. Advice on experiment selection and data interpretation is also available. For enquiries contact Dr Colin James.

700MHz Bruker Ultrashielded Plus Magnet

UCL/Birkbeck Inst. of Structural & Molecular Biology

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory, located in the Darwin Building, hosts multichannel 500, 600, 700 and 800 MHz NMR spectrometers, all equipped with cryoprobes for enhanced sensitivity, with a biological NMR expert to run the facility and support users.  For further information about the facility and to discuss potential NMR projects contact Prof John Christodoulou
