Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory is equipped with modern spectrometers and provides analytical support to staff at UCL School of Pharmacy, as well as services to other Universities.

The full range of high-resolution NMR experiments are offered at operating frequencies of 400 or 600 MHz. Advice on experiment selection and data interpretation is also available. In addition to providing the routine NMR service we are also interested in establishing collaborations with other academic institutions. Work for industries is subject to contract.

Instrumentation

  • Bruker Avance Neo 600 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with a QNP (31P, 13C, 15N and 1H) cryoprobe and SampleJet.
  • Bruker Avance Neo 400 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with broadband and selective (1H and 13C) inverse probes.
