Mitigation and disaster preparedness measures enacted in remote mountainous areas affected by earthquake-triggered geohazards
The 2008 Wenchuan earthquake has triggered numerous geohazard risks in China. The main objective of this research is to investigate the post-earthquake geohazard risk and to evaluate the effectiveness of subsequent mitigation and disaster preparedness measures in reducing geohazard risk exposure and alleviating vulnerability.
