The July 2013 version of the Code of Conduct for Research, which remains the current version, provides UCL researchers with a set of general principles by which to conduct their research, as well as setting out UCL’s expectations. Given the time since its publication, the Code has required revision in order to ensure that it incorporates the current expectations of research and researchers, as well as existing policies, processes and frameworks.

We are now opening UCL-wide consultation and are seeking feedback on the draft of the new Code of Conduct for Research via an online survey providing an important opportunity for researchers to contribute to the policy and governance of the university.

The consultation deadline has been extended to 23.59 on Thursday 2nd September 2021.
