Induction processes for Postgraduate Research Studentships.

Process

Members of staff who will be responsible for the administration of Postgraduate Research Students should contact the Award Services Studentships Unit to arrange for an induction meeting to be held.

During the meeting topics covered should be; the UCL Research Studentships web pages, Portico (fund management), MyFinance, UKRI JeS web portal, Processes and Procedures and introduction to the staff within the Research Services team supporting the activity.

All UKRI funded students on Training Grants must have been informed during induction that the UKRI Je-S student details has been created and that this notifies the funder with regard to the student and their project. This will also be imported into the Research Council Gateway to Research (GtR) for update throughout their PhD training/project and will be published widely.
