PhD Student
Jessica graduated with an MPhys degree from Manchester University, before joining the CDT in Delivering Quantum Technologies at UCL. Having obtained her MRes degree in the CDT, she then joined the Quantum Devices Group for her PhD. Jessica's project involves investigating the transport properties of freestanding carbon nanotube quantum dot devices. Her particular focus is of the study of charge and spin coherence in these devices using microwave fields to control the nanotubes and radio-frequency reflectometry for readout.
